The oiler conversion recal was replacing the front closed unit tank with an added button with a manual pump.Original system was called "Lubri Mac".This saw had a conversion with an old mac 33 tank. Now the restauration is complete, saw is running, I am just looking for a filter box cover.

NOTE: OIL PUMP: Manual oiler added after initial production. Oil is extracted from the crankcase and is fed to the bar as the automatic oiler but does not work unless the 10:1 oil mixture is used.
It did not have an oil tank but instead it recuperates the unused vaporized oil mixture unburned from the bottom of the crankcase and injected it through a passage towards the chain.
There was a recall on all of those saws (since it did not work properly) and the front gas tank was reduced to a double tank in order to add the manual oiler button/cap and extra oil tank. This saw survived the factory recall.
