JOYCE STRATTON(ANDERSON) SAW HISTORY:

This chainsaw was purchased by Carl Curtis. Carl owned a a large woodlot in Moscow, Maine, and worked as a woodsman in the Bingham, Moscow, Pleasant Ridge and Solon areas. He worked in the woods from the time he was 12 years old, cutting down trees and hauling them out to the Kennebec River. In addition to the work in the woods, he also worked the log drives up and down the Kennebec River. He used the chainsaw until he was into his 70's on his own property and woodlot, and it has since been passed down through the Curtis family.
