HISTORY:Indian Chainsaws began in 1953 when Luther Corp. began to sell a rebadged version of the Clinton model 3A as their own Luther chainsaw. In 1955, Magnaflux Corp. the owners of Luther Corp. created a new division called Indian Chain Saw Company. The first Indian chainsaw was the 1955 model 351D. You can see one in my collection. In 1956 Magnaflux created two more new divisions to produce the Cobra and Trams brands of chainsaws that can be seen also in my collection.
