Original name "ДРУЖБА" - Druzba, it means "friendship'
In 1954, to commemorate the three hundred years of unity between Ukraine and Russia, the saw was named "Druzhba" ("Friendship").
According to "Wikipedia", Boris Cabourg was from 1947 to 1954 in Siberia in the camp, where, along with other exiled scientists developed the All-Union Research and Design Bureau of the Ministry of Forest Industry handsaw running on the gasoline engine. Boris Cabourg called it "Taiga", but later it became known as "friendship."
